2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process your video exports and deliver them to you
• Send you download links and access to your renders
• Process payments through Stripe
• Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
• Improve the Service and fix technical issues

3. Data Storage and Security

Your uploaded images and generated videos are stored on secure CDN servers (Bunny CDN). Access to your renders requires authentication via email or secure access tokens.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email address and render history for as long as you use the Service. Generated videos are stored indefinitely unless you request deletion. We may delete old free-tier renders to manage storage costs.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing
• Bunny CDN: For video storage and delivery
• Resend: For sending emails

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication (session cookies). We use localStorage to store access tokens for your renders. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

You have the right to:

8. International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. DVDify Chrome Extension

The DVDify Chrome extension lets you right-click any image on the web and open it on dvdify.com to create a DVD-style screensaver. The extension:

• Stores data only on your device. It keeps a local list of up to 30 image URLs you have opened with DVDify (for the "Opened with DVDify" list in the extension popup) and whether you have dismissed the popup info panel. This data is stored in your browser via Chrome's local storage and is not sent to our servers.
• Does not collect or transmit your data to us. When you choose "Use with DVDify," the extension opens a new browser tab to dvdify.com with the image URL you selected. That is the same as you visiting the site and pasting a link; our servers may receive that URL when the page loads, in line with this Privacy Policy.
• Does not track your browsing. It does not record which pages you visit, your clicks, or any other activity beyond the image URLs you explicitly choose to open with DVDify.

We do not sell or share extension data. The rest of this Privacy Policy applies when you use dvdify.com (including when you open it from the extension).

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service.
